Our Pat and Polish ponies would like to present Pony Club and invite children and their parents to spend quality time together 
Sign up to Membership and we are ready every fortnight Sunday for grooming  treats and spending time with our unique herd of miniature Shetland ponies.

Sunday Pony Club runs fortnightly with subs of £20 for 12am till 2pm.
Pony Club members aged 12 and upwards are encouraged to stay after their lessons to `give a hand` with grooming, feeding, leading and handling and putting the ponies back out to grass after their lessons.  
Pony Parties are also offered April to September

Confident, bold and full of energy with clever, sparkling eyes.

EDIE:

The most modest and shy Shetland pony in the herd.

CUSTARD:

Beautiful palomino Shettie very kind and easy to handle. Used for our P&P pony parties. She has also been a bridesmaid on two occasions and simply is the most photogenic.

PEARL:

Mummy of Maylad

JERRY:

Although he is one of the smallest of our ponies and enjoys the smaller children on pony days and doing some horsemanship events.

SIMON:

Simon is one of our Pat and Polish Minis and also drives.

Pony Club is an amazing opportunity not only for fun but also following objectives:

  • to encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding
  • to give instruction in riding and horsemastership and to educate Members to look after and to take proper care of their animal
  • to promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty to create strength of character and self-discipline

 

Our Pony Club is part of UK Pony Club Organsation with is an international voluntary youth organisation for young people interested in ponies and riding. Founded in England in 1929, and granted independent charitable status on 1st January 1997, there are around 345 Branches and 600 Centres in the UK alone.

 

The Pony Club has been the starting point for a large majority of equestrian team members and medal winners.

 

The Pony Club is represented in no less than 27 countries with a worldwide membership exceeding 110,000 making it the largest association of young riders in the world.
