4 week Summer Stable Club for Secondary Age range 11-15yrs

The Summer School will be held on Thursday mornings 10am until 12midday from the 8th August to 29th August inclusive (4 weeks)

Young riders will take part in mounted and EAL (Equine Assisted Learning) hands on Horsemanship activites with our wonderful herd of Mini Shetlands and EAL ponies.

Activities are engaging and exciting mainly practical skills together with outdoor pursuits for their health and well-being.

They will develop communication skills and learning about working as a team with other students  when handling the ponies.

Youngsters will be involved in the day to day care of the horses and ponies and they will by measured use of feedstuffs, provide food and water and hay nets.

The full course will consist of 4 weeks of horsemanship and mounted time.

Coaches are DBS certificated and all hold Working with Children Safeguarding Certificates.

All safety hats and Horsemanship equipment is provided.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day but a snack box is useful for the breaktime.

Tea and coffee is provided for parents and nominees.
